Seretide Inhaler

Seretide 25/250mcg Inhaler is used for the treatment of shortness of breath and wheezing caused by inflammation of the airways as seen in asthma and ongoing lung problems such as emphysema, chronic bronchitis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease-COPD. Seretide is a circular, purple combination inhaler containing 2 medications, namely: a corticosteroid, and a long-acting bronchodilator. They can help to keep the airways open, and reduce inflammation and swelling in the lungs.Seretide is used to relieve exacerbating symptoms during asthma attacks and as a control medication to prevent symptoms of asthma before they happen. It is used daily and should always be taken as prescribed, even if your symptoms are not bothering you as much. The long-acting bronchodilator called salmeterol will keep the airways open for at least 12 hour.
